Prairie Winds Golf Course, previously named Watertown Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located next to Lake Kampeska, just minutes from downtown Watertown, South Dakota.

The front nine is flat with open fairways, while the back nine was built on rolling terrain and has several trees which can alter your shots. The greens are medium-sized and slightly sloped. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on two holes.

Watch out for # 6, a 425-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Prairie Winds Golf Course is # 11, a 409 yard par-4.
